Indirect Tax Manager

The Indirect Tax Manager Role

Our Indirect Tax team is market-leading, providing advisory, operational, and compliance services to PwC’s largest and most important clients. We cover all aspects of indirect tax, including specialisation in:

  • VAT
  • Customs
  • Excise
  • Stamp taxes
  • Environmental taxes

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Here’s what your weeks will look like:

  • Building relationships with:

    • Clients
    • Internal (UK & global PwC network) teams
  • Collaborating with Indirect Tax and other PwC teams to:

    • Win new business
    • Deliver projects end-to-end
  • Providing cutting-edge solutions and advisory services tailored to our clients’ commercial needs

  • Stay at the forefront of indirect tax by:

    • Tracking legislative developments
    • Monitoring practical regulatory shifts

Core Requirements

To succeed, you’ll need:

  • Excellent VAT technical & analytical acumen
  • A fine reputation for delivering exceptional client service
  • Deep advisory experience and industry savvy
  • Proven project management skills:
    • Ability to prioritise effectively
    • Strong judgement in risk management
  • Self-motivated with a knack for flexible working and virtual collaboration
