Indirect Tax Manager
Our Indirect Tax team is market leading, providing advisory, operational and compliance services to PwC’s largest and most important clients. We advise across all aspects of indirect tax, with specialists in:
- VAT
- Customs
- Excise
- Stamp taxes
- Environmental taxes

We are seeking a Manager to join our team based in our London Embankment place office. In this integral role, you will be the backbone of a team dedicated to problem-solving and guiding clients through their most complex issues from strategy to execution.
Responsibilities
- Building relationships: Foster strong connections with clients as well as internal UK and global PwC network teams
- Client acquisition & workflow leadership: Collaborate with colleagues across PwC and the Indirect Tax team to win new clients and secure projects
- Strategic advisory: Deliver innovative solutions and tailored advice aligned with our clients' commercial objectives
- Regulatory diligence: Remain current with the latest indirect tax legislation and practical changes
Requirements & Skills
- Strong VAT technical expertise with exceptional analytical skills
- Demonstrated commitment to client service excellence
- Extensive advisory experience
- Proven project management skills, prioritisation capabilities, and multi-tasking finesse
- Ability to make sound judgements and exercise independent consultation, while adept at risk management
- Experience in a flexible, virtual-network collaborative environment
