Citadel Source are delighted to be partnering with a well-established international business to recruit an Indirect Tax Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Operating across multiple territories, this organisation is seeking an experienced tax professional to take ownership of indirect tax compliance, governance, and advisory matters during an important period of business transformation and growth.

This is a highly visible role within the finance function, offering broad exposure across international VAT matters, senior stakeholder engagement, and tax risk management within a complex global environment.

About the client

Citadel Source’s client is a recognised international consumer-facing business with operations spanning multiple jurisdictions. With an evolving operating model and continued focus on process improvement, the organisation is investing in strengthening its governance, compliance, and finance capabilities across the group.

About you

The successful candidate will be a qualified tax professional with strong VAT and indirect tax experience gained within a large corporate, advisory firm, or international business. You will be confident managing external advisors and building relationships across finance and operational teams, whilst providing practical and commercially focused tax advice. You will be equally comfortable operating hands-on within the detail of indirect tax compliance whilst maintaining oversight of wider tax governance and risk management activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
