Help young people build positive, independent futures

Herts Young Homeless is looking for an Individual Giving & Supporter Experience Officer to play a key role in growing supporter income and engagement.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-respected charity supporting vulnerable young people across Hertfordshire. You'll lead on individual giving activity, develop inspiring supporter communications and help build lasting relationships that generate vital income for services that prevent and relieve youth homelessness. The role has a fundraising target of £100,000 and will also support the development of new initiatives, including legacy giving.

Why join Herts Young Homeless?

  • You'll be joining a supportive fundraising team of eight within a friendly organisation of around 50 staff.
  • This is a charity where people stay, develop and genuinely see the impact of their work.
  • Staff regularly hear directly from the young people they support, helping bring fundraising to life and providing a real connection between your work and the difference it makes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
