JOB DESCRIPTION
Hours of work:
- Individual Needs Assistant: 16.25 hours
- Midday Supervisory Assistant: 5 hours per week
Working pattern:
- Part-time, Term-time only, working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service.
Salary:
- As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata.
Fixed term for:
- 4 months

We have an experienced team of staff in our 4 schools who work very closely together to plan and provide a curriculum that fits our schools and our children.
Five Ashes School currently has an Individual Needs Assistant vacancy based on a fixed term (September – December 2026), due to funding allocation. We are keen to hear from candidates who possess the following qualities:
- Patient, calm and truly listen to and value children’s views.
- Kind and Caring and have a desire to support pupils.
- Demonstrate versatility and flexibility.
- Are able to maintain confidentiality.
- Are able to communicate effectively with children and colleagues.
- Preferably have experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Working Hours:
- Individual Needs Assistant: 8.45am - 12pm, plus 5 hours as Midday Supervisory Assistant.
