About Hailsham Academy

Hailsham Academy is a split-site all-through school, serving approximately 1,500 students in the secondary phase and 300 in the primary phase. Strategically located near Eastbourne (South Coast) and within minutes of National Parks and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Academy prides itself on providing exceptional educational opportunities in a vibrant, supportive environment.

In September 2019, we opened a brand-new Primary and Pre-School phase within the town, extending the Academy’s designation to a 2–19 all-through provision. Since our March 2023 Ofsted inspection, we have strengthened our leadership structure, pastoral support, and curriculum delivery to ensure educational excellence.

With our joining MARK Education Trust in September 2025, we have embraced a culture of aspirational excellence, where schools retain their unique identity while collaborating as a trusted partnership. Our vision is to provide the best possible education, fostering an environment where every student is highly ambitious and uncompromisingly driven to excellence.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
