Job Summary

Are you ready to champion true independence and inclusion? We are looking for individuals who don't just look past limitations, but actively collaborate with young adults to dismantle the barriers holding them back.

We are seeking two dedicated Individual Needs Assistant (INA) to join our vibrant school community this September. Rooted firmly in the social model of disability, this role is focused on acting as an ally, enabler, and inclusion facilitator for a Sixth Form pupil with Cerebral Palsy. Your mission will be to remove physical and academic barriers, support independent use of mobility aids, and champion the pupil's transition into adulthood and higher education or employment.

Importantly, while this pupil is your primary focus, you will be an integral part of our wider school community. When the pupil is studying independently, you will actively pivot to support and engage with other pupils within the classroom and the boarding house, fostering a holistic environment of communal support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Empowering Academic & Tech Support: Act as an objective reader/scribe in lessons and exams, and coach the pupil to master assistive technologies for future independence.
  • Autonomy-First Daily Assistance: Support the independent use of mobility aids and orthotics using a respectful, "assistance on request" approach.
  • Fluid Community Integration: Pivot proactively to support the wider classroom and boarding house whenever the primary pupil is engaged in independent study.
  • Inclusive Enrichment & Trip Planning: Accompany the pupil on off-site excursions, university visits, and social events, pre-auditing venues to remove accessibility barriers.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Implement specialist strategies from Educational Psychologists, Physios, and OTs, while maintaining proactive communication with parents and staff.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
