Gifted Individual Needs Assistant (INA)
Hours of work:
- 11 hours per week
- Monday–Wednesday: 9 AM–12 PM
- Thursday: 9 AM–11 AM
Working pattern:
- Part-time
- Term-time only
- 39 weeks per year
- Plus 6.05 weeks annual leave -delta (will increase after 5 years' continuous service)
- Salary prorated (due to part-time and term-time hours)

About the Role:
🔹 We are seeking a gifted INA (Individual Needs Assistant) to join our team.
🔹 You will work directly with a pupil supporting their EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan).
🔹 Preferred experience:
- Working with pupils with complex needs, particularly autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

The ideal candidate will:
- Be enthusiastic and committed to the holistic development of children – both personally and academically – with a passion for learning.
- Be highly motivated, capable of working effectively with a small team, and committed to providing positive, calm, and caring engagement with pupils.
- Have experience in:
- delivering individual support plans under the guidance of a class teacher.
- Some familiarity with sensory circuits and emotional regulation strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating alongside the class teacher and SENDCO to create a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for the pupil.
- Setting high expectations for students while effectively managing behavior.
- Ensuring productive and safe learning environments.
