Contract Type: Permanent – 37.5 hours per week Salary: Circa £27,000 per annum Location: Etruria, Stoke ST1 5SY Days & Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm or 9:30am–5:30pm

About the Role
As the Indoor Account Manager, your core responsibility is to proactively manage a portfolio of around 800 high-value customers (each spending up to £700 per week). Your focus will be on retention, revenue growth, and service excellence by building strong customer relationships through sales, strategic account development, and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer contacts using a predefined communication matrix.
- Develop and implement individual account plans to meet revenue targets.
- Maintain and update customer information in SalesForce and other systems.
- Build multi-level business relationships with customer organisations.
- Identify and pursue additional revenue opportunities across portfolios.
- Track and update a revenue opportunity pipeline.
- Monitor account profitability and performance to ensure compliance.
- Resolve customer issues promptly to prevent long-term churn.
- Execute annual price increases for all in-portfolio accounts.
- Support smooth account transitions between sales teams in line with company policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
You must demonstrate a passion for exceptional service and proven experience in Account Management or Customer Relationships. Key traits include:
- Strong communication skills (phone, email, virtual meetings).
- Influencing ability to guide business decisions effectively.
- Quality mathematical/logical skills for pricing and revenue analysis.
- Problem-solving drive with decision-making resilience in high-pressure settings.
- Sales and upselling experience for customer growth opportunities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite and SalesForce (desirable).
