Role Description
The Industrial Cleaner role is a full-time, on-site position based in Doncaster. The Industrial Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in industrial and factory environments, including production lines, specialist manufacturing areas, and other commercial spaces. Day-to-day tasks include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and deep cleaning surfaces; using appropriate equipment and cleaning agents; managing waste and recycling; and following detailed cleaning schedules for machinery, floors, and high-traffic areas. The role also involves adhering to health and safety procedures, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), and reporting any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors. The Industrial Cleaner will work as part of a team to ensure client sites are consistently maintained to Pristine’s high standards.

- Experience in industrial or commercial cleaning, including familiarity with factory, warehouse, or production line environments.
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively (e.g., floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuum cleaners, pressure washers).
- Strong understanding of hygiene, health and safety practices, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals and materials.
- Good attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow structured cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and working in varied environments.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently when required and respond to supervisor instructions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends, depending on client and site requirements.
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning and a valid driver’s license are beneficial but not essential.
