Industrial Cleaner
Hourly Rate: £12.71
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday (weekend or bank holiday overtime may be required, depending on business needs)
Location & Postcode: EnviRecover EFW, DY104JD
As an Industrial Cleaner at FCC Environment, you will play an important role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety across our Energy from Waste facility. Working under the direction of the Operations Engineer (or nominated deputy), you will carry out a range of industrial cleaning duties and support the Maintenance team where required.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working five days per week.

What will you be doing?
- Carrying out industrial and general cleaning tasks across process and external areas
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards across the facility
- Cleaning process equipment in line with agreed cleaning schedules or as required
- Operating industrial cleaning equipment safely and correctly
- Ensuring cleaning materials and waste are handled and disposed of in line with site procedures
- Keeping accurate records of completed cleaning tasks
- Supporting compliance with site consents and safety standards
- Actively contributing to the site's health, safety and environmental culture
- Reporting accidents, near misses, hazards or unsafe practices
- Carrying out any other reasonable duties as requested by management
What are we looking for?
- Previous cleaning experience within a process or heavy industrial environment
- Experience operating industrial cleaning machinery
- Waste industry experience (desirable)
- A strong awareness of health and safety and safe working practices
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work well as part of a team or independently
- A proactive approach with good attention to detail
