About the Role:
We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Industrial Controller to join our manufacturing finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the plant's financial and operational performance by delivering accurate reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and helping drive cost visibility across the business.
Working closely with Finance and Operations teams, you will contribute to month-end reporting processes, industrial cost management, standard costing activities, and profitability analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working with data, collaborating across functions, and influencing business decisions within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Main Responsibilities:
As an Industrial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the financial performance of the plant by ensuring accurate reporting, robust cost control, and insightful financial analysis. You will take ownership of the month-end reporting process, ensuring financial results are delivered accurately, on time, and in line with group reporting standards. You will partner closely with the Plant Controller and Operations teams to support the budgeting and forecasting process. By gathering operational inputs, challenging assumptions, and analysing trends, you will help build accurate forecasts and identify potential risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives. Your insights will contribute to better decision-making and improved financial visibility across the site.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
