DAVID HUGHES INDUSTRIAL ROLLER DOORS LIMITED is a family-run business with over 30 years of experience in manufacturing and installing roller shutter garage doors for residential, industrial, and commercial clients throughout Wales and England. We are committed to quality craftsmanship and excellent customer service.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Door Engineer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair services for a wide range of industrial, domestic, and commercial door systems.

Role Description / Responsibilities
- Install, service, maintain, and repair industrial door systems, including:
- Pedestrian doors
- Roller shutter doors
- Sectional overhead doors
- High-speed doors
- Steel security doors
- Fire rated roller shutter doors
- PVC Strip curtains & Automatic doors
- Troubleshoot technical issues with existing installations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Adhere to safety standards and company policies.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues.
- Read and interpret technical drawings.
- Provide excellent customer service during on-site visits.
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service while working on client sites.

Requirements
Essential:
- Previous experience working as an Industrial Door Engineer or similar field service engineer.
- Knowledge of technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Full UK Driving licence.
- Flexibility is essential as the role involves travel and nights away.
Desirable:
- IPAF, PASMA, or CSCS card.
- Relevant industry qualifications or certifications.
