Role Description
The Industrial Door Engineer is a full-time remote role responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial doors. Day-to-day tasks include performing diagnostic assessments, completing routine servicing, and resolving technical issues to ensure safe and efficient operation of all equipment. The role involves planning and coordinating work schedules, documenting service activities, and communicating clearly with clients and internal teams about findings, solutions, and recommendations. The Industrial Door Engineer will also contribute to process improvements, follow safety regulations, and provide technical support and guidance as needed.

- Strong Analytical Skills to diagnose faults, assess equipment performance, and make data-informed decisions.
- Industrial Engineering skills to understand system design, equipment layouts, and technical specifications.
- Manufacturing Engineering skills to work with mechanical and electrical components and understand production processes.
- Process Improvement skills to optimize service procedures, enhance efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Effective Communication skills to interact with clients, contractors, and team members, and to produce clear technical documentation.
- Experience installing, maintaining, or repairing industrial doors, mechanical systems, is a must.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety standards and safe working practices.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and travel to customer sites when required.
