Industrial Electrician
Location: Stevenage
Contract: Mid July to Late October 2026 (Approx. 3.5 Months)
Hours: 45 Hours per Week
Rate: Up to £30 per hour (Umbrella) Inside IR35
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Industrial Electrician to support a major new-build chemical plant project in Stevenage. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy site installation team on a fixed-term contract, working on a high-profile industrial project.
The Role
You will be responsible for installing LV power and control cabling systems across the site, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.

Key Duties Include
- Installing LV power and control cabling systems
- Cable pulling, dressing, glanding and terminating
- Wiring into control panels, MCCs, junction boxes and process equipment
- Carrying out modifications to cable ladder and cable tray containment systems
- Working from electrical drawings and installation specifications
- Supporting testing, inspection and commissioning activities
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures and project quality standards

Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- Valid CCNSG Safety Passport xlqdzyr (or equivalent site safety certification)
- Previous industrial electrical installation experience
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Strong understanding of safe working practices on industrial sites
