Industrial Factory Cleaner – Uttoxeter (ST14)
About the Role
Pinnacle Group is seeking an experienced Industrial Factory Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness within our manufacturing and industrial facilities in Uttoxeter, ST14. You’ll be joining our Workplace Cleaning Team as part of Pinnacle Workplace, which delivers specialist cleaning and facilities management solutions across essential sectors.
Your role will involve industrial cleaning tasks, including:
- Flooring and work areas
- Specialised cleaning of machinery and industrial equipment
- Use of heavy-duty cleaning tools, scrubber dryers, sweepers, and buffers
We’re offering a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) from Monday to Friday, either 7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. Overtime is available, including Saturday/Sunday shifts at an enhanced rate.

Key Responsibilities
- Floor & Area Cleaning:
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming (carpets & hard floors)
- Using scrubber dryers, industrial sweepers, and buffers
- Surface & Equipment Cleaning:
- Dusting, wiping down surfaces (desks, chairs, windowsills, skirting boards)
- Sanitising workstations in factory environments
- Common Area Maintenance:
- Cleaning corridors, stairwells, and communal spaces
- Ensuring toilet facilities remain pristine (hand basins, finishing supplies)
- Waste Management:
- Recycling, waste collection, transportation, and storage (both internal and external waste streams)
Skills & Requirements
✅ Proven experience in industrial, factory, or high-specialisation cleaning environments ✅ Ability to work safely with chemicals and equipment per COSHH & HSE guidelines ✅ Physical fitness & strength to lift and handle cleaning materials ✅ Strong teamwork and independent initiative ✅ Punctuality, reliability, and a commitment to standards ✅ Experience working under tight schedules or deadlines
