Bouygues UK is looking for its future construction leaders!

Are you studying a construction-related degree and looking to secure a placement year?

We are excited to be offering an opportunity for a Site Management Industrial Placement Year Student to join us on a large-scale (~270M) project in Exeter. This is your chance to see a project come to life, giving you invaluable real-life experience on site.

What You’ll Need

  • To be studying a construction-related degree
  • A passion for construction and eagerness to learn!

What You'll Do

  • Assist the site manager in keeping the project on track according to the contract program.
  • Oversee parts of the work to ensure safe execution, as directed.
  • Attend site meetings when needed.
  • Provide updates for Progress Reports if requested.
  • Help the Site Manager with Inspection and Test Plans and make sure they meet the requirements.
  • Ensure all work follows the latest information.
  • Monitor and report any work/materials not meeting the required standards to the Site Manager.
  • Get to know and follow the Company Health and Safety Policy.
