Industrial Placement Year - Site Management

Site Management Industrial Placement Year Student – Exeter (£22,371 pa)

Bouygues UK is looking for its future construction leaders!

Are you studying a construction-related degree and looking to secure a placement year project?

We are excited to offer a Site Management Industrial Placement Year opportunity to join us on a large-scale (~£270M) project in Exeter. This is your chance to see a project come to life, gaining invaluable real-world experience on site.


Responsibilities

As a Site Management Industrial Placement Student, you will:

  • Assist the Site Manager in keeping the project on track according to the contract programme
  • Oversee selected parts of the work to ensure safe execution as directed
  • Attend site meetings when required
  • Provide updates for Progress Reports if requested
  • Support the Site Manager with Inspection & Test Plans, ensuring they meet requirements
  • Ensure all work aligns with the latest project information
  • Monitor and report non-compliant work/materials to the Site Manager
  • Get to know and follow the Company Health & Safety Policy
