Industrial Projects Engineer

Kidderminster | Competitive Salary + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Shape the future of advanced manufacturing.

We're looking for an experienced engineer who enjoys turning big ideas into reality. If you've led manufacturing improvement projects, delivered capital investments or transformed production facilities, this is an opportunity to make a genuine impact within one of the UK's most advanced engineering and manufacturing organisations.

You'll be responsible for identifying where investment will deliver the biggest operational gains, building robust business cases and leading projects from concept through to commissioning. Working across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and commercial teams, you'll help shape the future of production capability.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading capital investment and manufacturing improvement projects from initial concept to delivery.
  • Developing business cases and securing investment through clear cost, ROI and capacity analysis.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity and material flow.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to introduce new equipment, technologies and production systems.
  • Supporting bid activities by providing manufacturing costs, routing, capacity planning and investment forecasts.
  • Driving Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence initiatives across the site.
  • Managing project budgets, suppliers, commissioning activities and stakeholder engagement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
