Industrial Refrigeration Engineer Herefordshire & Surrounding Areas £45,000 - £65,000 per annum

Bridgestaff Group are working with an established specialist in industrial and commercial refrigeration solutions. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Engineer to join their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer with experience of ammonia (NH3) and HFC refrigeration systems who is looking to further develop their skills within a supportive business that actively invests in training, career progression and professional development.

The Role

As an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service work on customer sites
  • Ensuring all work is completed to company engineering standards
  • Supporting commissioning activities and installation projects
  • Assisting with project management and site coordination where required
  • Maintaining compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and company procedures
  • Identifying opportunities to improve plant performance, reliability and efficiency
  • Participating in a well-supported on-call and standby rota

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • F-Gas Category 1 (2079) Certification
  • Ammonia Handling Qualification
  • Proven experience working with HFC and Ammonia refrigeration systems
  • Hydrocarbon Qualification
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
