Industrial Transfer and Offset Execution Manager
Project Execution Manager – Industrial Transfer & Offset
Location: Bristol Salary: Circa £65,000 (depending on experience) Working Arrangements: Hybrid model (1 day per week on-site) Security Requirement: British citizen or dual UK national with British citizenship (mandatory HMG BPSS clearance post-offer)
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within MBDA Operations to lead contract execution, transfer delivery, and supplier management in a fast-paced, globally collaborative environment. The Project Execution Manager will support pre-contract activities and post-contract award, ensuring seamless industrial transfer and offset delivery across international markets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing high-technology product transfer to meet strict schedule, cost, and quality targets.
- Collaborating with global industry partners, MBDA directorates (SBD IIC, Programmes, Operations, Finance), and multi-functional teams.
- Driving export supplier relationships, international travel for progress reviews, and risk/opportunity management.
- Leading multi-disciplinary functions to safeguard contract requirements.
Responsibilities
Strategic & Accountability
- Plan and deliver large-scale industrial transfer and offset contracts with high-technology product transfers.
- Develop and maintain key relationships with export suppliers, clients, and subcontractors.
- Account for export control compliance and adherence to regulations.
- Provide technical insights to resolve production/industrialization challenges.
- Challenge progress and ensure alignment with project success metrics.

Post-Contract Execution
- Ensure pre- and post-contract activities meet high standards.
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams (design, manufacturing, quality, finance, export).
- Manage medium-to-large budgets tied to export obligations.
Tendering & Financial Oversight
- Assist in bidding activities for industrial transfer/offset contracts.
- Prepare and maintain contract risk plans, budgets, and financial controls.
Operational & Development
- Work with ** segretic目样mercial engineers, mechanical systems, assembly test teams, and other domains**.
- Enhance international working experience through global collaboration.
- Build strategic relationships and optimize cross-functional processes.

Core Requirements
- Technical leadership with strong project management track record (delivering high-value, fixed-cost programmes).
- Proven experience in engineering, manufacturing, or export domains.
- Deep awareness of production techniques, industrialization processes, and supplier management.
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience with a proactive, tenacious approach.
- Exceptional communicator with multicultural/multidisciplinary teamwork experience.
- Strong relationship-building and performance-driven mindset.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with international business operations.
- Familiarity with offset/export contracting frameworks.
- Prioritization of strategic business needs alongside tactical execution.
