Industrialisation Test Engineer – High Voltage | East London

My client is seeking an experienced Industrialisation Test Engineer with strong high voltage product and production test experience to support the development and launch of high-reliability products within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, install, and commission high voltage test systems (hardware & software)
  • Integrate and validate automated test solutions for production
  • Create test specifications, instructions, verification plans, and technical documentation
  • Support manufacturing with fault finding, test failure analysis, and hands-on debugging
  • Work closely with R&D, Quality, Production, and Engineering teams
  • Train manufacturing teams on new test processes and equipment

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline
  • Strong understanding of high voltage systems and safety protocols
  • Proven experience developing HV production test equipment
  • Experience with automated test systems and production test environments
  • Knowledge of NI LabVIEW and TestStand is highly desirable
  • Experience in industrialisation, manufacturing engineering, Lean, Kaizen, or 5S would be beneficial
