THE POSTION SUMMARY: The Industry Director (Technology Sector) is responsible for driving strategic growth, account development, and executive engagement across the technology industry vertical within the Oxford and Linksap companies. Linksap is a specialist IT recruitment business operating within the international SAP / IT ecosystem, and is part of the Oxford Global Resources family of companies.

This leader will develop and execute go-to-market strategies, deepen partnerships with key clients, and position our companies as a trusted partner for digital transformation, innovation, and business value creation within the technology ecosystem.

THE OPPORTUNITY/ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategic Leadership & Growth Develop and lead the industry growth strategy for the technology sector, including software, hardware, semiconductor, and platform clients. Identify and prioritize high-potential accounts and partnerships that align with company objectives. Lead and mentor a cross-functional team focused on growing market share within the tech vertical.

Client & Account Development Build and strengthen executive and strategic relationships with leading technology clients. Drive account growth strategies in collaboration with sales, solutions, and delivery teams. Act as an executive sponsor for strategic technology accounts and programs.

Go-to-Market & Ecosystem Enablement Design and lead cross-functional GTM campaigns by geography, industry sub-sector, and solution area. Collaborate with marketing, alliances, and solution teams to develop sector-specific offerings and case studies. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in emerging technology domains (AI, cloud, data, cybersecurity, etc.)

Thought Leadership & Market Influence Act as a thought leader and represent the company at key industry events, conferences and executive forums. Stay ahead of emerging technologies, translate trends into actionable business strategies, and leverage competitive intelligence. Drive internal enablement by educating teams on technology industry dynamics, client needs, and solution relevance.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE /QUALIFICATIONS: 10+ years of experience in the technology staffing, consulting, or solutions industry, with a proven record of driving revenue growth and developing strategic client relationships. Experience of partnering closely with System Integrator companies is key for this position. Demonstrated success in sales leadership, business development, or industry strategy roles, preferably within a large or mid-sized professional services or staffing organization. Strong understanding of technology market trends, including emerging tools, platforms, and digital transformation initiatives that influence client needs. Proven ability to develop and execute industry-specific sales strategies that drive consistent growth and profitability. Expertise in building executive relationships and engaging with C-suite and senior technology leaders to identify and shape opportunities. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and inspire internal teams and external clients. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities to translate market insights into actionable sales and go-to-market plans. Experience working collaboratively with Account Managers (AMs), Solution Sales, and Delivery teams to ensure alignment and execution of client strategies. Skilled at organizational mapping, identifying key decision-makers, and directing sales teams to targeted networking and prospecting opportunities. Ability to guide and contribute to RFP responses, proposals, and MPS development, ensuring client needs are met with tailored, high-quality solutions. Comfortable leading strategic client calls, uncovering new opportunities, and positioning the firm as a trusted partner within the technology industry. Strong leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Results-driven mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires a proven industry leader who embodies both strategic foresight and operational execution, ensuring Linksap continues to scale, compete, and lead in the technology sector and consulting market.

EDUCATION: A bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, or a related field required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
