Industry Governance Support Specialist

Reports to - Industry Governance Specialist
Location - Solihull / Hybrid
Salary - £28,000 - 33,000

Job Purpose:

To support the Joint Office’s governance operations by contributing to ensure accurate and timely updates to the industry’s key legal operating documentation, including the Uniform Network Code. Responsible for tracking Code Modifications, incorporating the associated legal text, scheduling and publishing revised documents.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist in updating and publishing updates to the Uniform Network Code (UNC).
  • Support the tracking of Code Modifications ensuring associated legal text is accurately incorporated.
  • Assist in scheduling publication dates for UNC revisions.
  • Support in the recording, compilation and provision of key performance indicators for the Joint Office, Ofgem and other industry bodies such as CACoP.
  • Support projects to facilitate the successful delivery of the Gas Code Manager.
  • Maintain document accuracy and version control.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree level education
  • Appreciation of gas industry governance
  • Experience in managing and interpreting data
  • Experience in office administration
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, SharePoint etc.) and Adobe Acrobat

Knowledge and Experience Required:

  • Demonstrable competency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, and Outlook primarily) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Organisational / administrative skills with clear attention to detail.
  • Excellent written skills with good verbal, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Collaborative, team player with the ability to adapt and be flexible in tasks undertaken.
  • Ability to understand and comply with policies / procedures.
  • (Desirable) Experience of working in a regulated industry.
