Skills and Competencies Deep subject matter expertise in Master Data Management, including customer reference data, data governance, data analytics and technology integration Comprehensive understanding of the sale and marketing technology stack (e.g., CRM, sales intelligence, marketing automation) and third-part data integration patterns.direct experience with the Salesforce ecosystem is a plus Strong ability to act as a trusted advisor, translating complex data and architecture concepts into clear business value Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior-level stakeholders Proven strategic and analytical mindset, capable of identifying market trends and whitespace opportunities Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting discovery, qualification, and solutioning in enterprise sales cycles Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, marketing, and product management teams across geographies Thought leadership capability, including public speaking, content creation, and industry advocacy Resilient, patient, and professional approach when operating under time pressure and client demands Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using Agentic AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency Education Bachelor’s degree required Additional relevant qualifications, certifications, or professional associations are beneficial 10–15+ years of experience in Master Data Management roles within corporates, financial services, consulting, or related environments Responsibilities This client-facing role is responsible for serving as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor during the sales cycle, establishing credibility and confidence in Moody’s Master Data Management solutions. Other responsibilities include: Supporting discovery, qualification, and solution design by facilitating solution architecture aligned to customer use cases Elevating RFP and Proof of Concept processes by applying industry best practices and transformation expertise Partnering with sales, marketing, and product teams to shape and execute effective market outreach strategies Lead industry engagement activities, including speaking at events, publishing thought leadership, and maintaining external stakeholder relationships. Actively gather and translate market and regulatory feedback to inform future-proof product capabilities Identifying emerging themes, regulatory requirements, and whitespace opportunities to support product innovation; building business cases for new product development and continuous solution improvement This position offers a dynamic work environment, requiring up to 50% travel to engage with clients face-to-face, while also providing the flexibility of hybrid working About the Team The Industry Practice team at Moody’s Analytics is a group of seasoned subject matter experts drawn from industry, consulting, and regulatory backgrounds. Aligned to core customer segments, the team plays a critical role in bridging market needs with Moody’s data and analytics solutions. As trusted industry leaders, the team shapes strategy through thought leadership, client engagement, and market insight, working closely with sales and product partners to deliver impactful, future-ready solutions across Europe and Africa.
