The Government and Commercial Solutions (GCS) team help defence, maritime, and engineering organisations maintain operational and force readiness by providing clear, trusted insight into their workforce requirements—ensuring the right people, with the right skills, are available when it matters most.

We’re searching for a UK-based Industry Solution Director – Defence Sector (Remote) to join our Government & Commercial Solutions (GCS) Defence Engagement Team, so that we can deepen strategic relationships, drive complex account growth, and expand RLDatix solutions across defence and government environments in the UK and Europe. The Industry Solution Director will leverage defence sector expertise and commercial acumen to define and deliver solution-led strategies to support operational readiness and workforce optimisation across the defence sector globally.

How You’ll Spend Your Time

Acting as a trusted partner to defence and government clients, applying operational and procurement knowledge to deliver mission-aligned solutions Building and maintaining senior relationships with military, government, and procurement stakeholders to drive account growth and retention Developing and executing strategic account plans to identify opportunities and progress pipeline through to contract award Leveraging your network to generate pipeline activity and increase awareness of RLDatix force readiness capabilities Diagnosing client challenges and aligning solutions to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, compliance, and effectiveness Leading consultative, solution-led sales activity including demonstrations, bids, and tenders to secure new business

What Kind of Things We’re Most Interested in You Having

Proven experience in enterprise SaaS solution sales, ideally within defence, aerospace, government, or mission-critical sectors Demonstrated success in managing complex enterprise accounts and driving sustainable revenue growth In-depth knowledge of workforce planning, resource optimisation, and operational readiness in regulated environments Strong understanding of MOD procurement frameworks, NATO standards, and defence sector requirements Ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex decision-making environments A knack for working independently while collaborating cross-functionally in a global, matrixed environment
