MERIT Beauty

London, UK

Posted on Jul 8, 2026

The Role

The PR & Influence Manager, UK will define and lead the PR and influence strategy for the UK market, aligned with the brand's key moments and overarching objectives. You will own influence activations end to end, from strategy and talent partnerships through to content co-creation, special operations and performance, ensuring everything is consistent with the brand's DNA and our social media platforms.

On the PR side, you will drive UK press strategy and earned media coverage in close collaboration with the retained PR agency, acting as the internal point of contact and ensuring alignment between agency activity and the brand's wider influence and social strategy.

You will manage the UK influence budget, identify the right talent and build high-value, long-term relationships that drive brand awareness. The ideal candidate is a creative, autonomous self-starter with deep knowledge of the UK influence landscape, comfortable both shaping strategy and leading hands-on execution. You will partner closely, as a strong duo, with the UK Marketing Manager, ensuring all actions are aligned and mutually reinforcing toward a common goal: making Merit a strong beauty brand in the UK.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
