Account Director - Influencer Marketing
London (Hybrid)
The role and company
We are working with an established influencer management agency that is expanding its influencer marketing offering and is looking to appoint an Account Director to support its next phase of growth.
This is a key role within the business, combining client leadership, campaign delivery, and commercial responsibility. There is a real opportunity here to help shape and grow a developing area, with plenty of scope to make a tangible impact.
The successful candidate will take ownership of key client relationships, lead the delivery of influencer campaigns, and play an active role in building out the agency’s offering. This would suit someone who is strategically minded, commercially aware, and motivated by taking on greater ownership in a growing function.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and rollout of the influencer marketing offering, helping define how it is positioned and delivered
- Act as the senior point of contact for clients, guiding campaign strategy, and building long-term relationships
- Identify and secure new business opportunities with brands and agency partners
- Oversee influencer campaigns from initial concept through to delivery and reporting, ensuring a consistently high standard
- Put in place effective processes for campaign delivery, including talent sourcing, workflows, and performance tracking
- Work closely with internal teams across strategy, creative, production, and talent to deliver integrated campaigns
- Manage account performance, including budgets, forecasting, and revenue growth
- Support the scaling of the function over time, including input into hiring and team development

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
