The Opportunity

We are seeking an Influencer Lead—a high-impact strategist who will architect our creator-led growth engine. This role extends beyond content creation to build a scalable, performance-driven, and automated influencer marketing function, integrating data, creativity, and commercial strategy.

You will:

  • Report directly to the Affiliate and Influencer Lead
  • Define the global influencer strategy
  • Optimize Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) to Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) ratios at scale

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Roadmap

  • Develop a 12–24 month global strategy for influencer marketing, aligning budget allocation across platforms, formats, verticals, and regions.
  • Align the influencer channel with long-term brand equity and sustainable business growth.

2. Process Optimization

  • Design a global influencer playbook, standardizing creator vetting, briefing, and measurement for scaling consistency.
  • Ensure measurable performance through KPI-driven frameworks.

3. Budgeting & Funnel Integration

  • Oversee global influencer budgeting, balancing experimentation risk and blasts on conversion consistency.
  • Collaborate with owned paid social channels to integrate creator content and reduce blended CAC.

4. Experimentation & Innovation

  • Own an experimental roadmap to uncover qualitative and incrementality insights, testing beyond flat fees (e.g., equity-based partnerships, performance-bonus tiers, loyalty incentives).
  • Stay ahead of AI and platform algorithm shifts, refining strategies to sustain competitiveness.

5. Technology & Automation

  • Select the optimal tech stack (SaaS platforms, AI vetting tools, CRM systems) for automation, discovery, and reporting.
  • Leverage creator economy platforms (e.g., Impact, CreatorIQ, Modash) and bespoke tools.

6. Leadership & Advocacy

  • Mentor a team of Managers and Juniors, ensuring KPI delivery, workload balance, and professional growth.
  • Champion the influencer channel cross-functionally, translating insights into brand strategy.

Requirements

Scale & Strategic Expertise

  • Proven ability to evolve an influencer or partnership program from pilot stage to revenue driver.
  • Think beyond individual campaigns—design systems for integrated media mix growth.

Negotiation & Leadership

  • Skilled in high-pressure negotiations with top-tier talent agencies and management firms.
  • Experience leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Data & Advertising Fluency

  • Advanced data proficiency, capable of creating custom performance dashboards.
  • Deep understanding of global advertising and contract law (IP, usage rights, exclusivity).

Tech & Creativity Insight

  • Expertise in the creator economy’s digital landscape and emerging platforms/tools.
  • Hands-on knowledge of performance attribution metrics and conversion funnel optimisation.
