About the Opportunity
As our Informatica Technical Lead, you'll be the technical authority for Torrens University's enterprise integration platform, leading the architecture, delivery and continuous evolution of scalable, secure data integration solutions. Joining us at an exciting time of technology transformation, you'll play a key role in modernising our enterprise integration platform and helping shape the next generation of AI-enabled integration capabilities.
Working closely with architects, engineers, business stakeholders and vendors, you'll influence enterprise architecture, establish technical standards and deliver modern cloud-based solutions that support critical business operations, analytics and digital transformation.
This is a genuinely hands-on Technical Lead role, ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while mentoring others and shaping technical direction.

What You'll Do
In this role, you'll:
- Lead the architecture, design and delivery of enterprise data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter, IICS and IDMC.
- Design scalable ETL/ELT, API-driven, CDC and cloud-native integration solutions supporting operational and analytical platforms.
- Establish integration standards, development frameworks and technical governance to drive quality, security and consistency.
- Optimise enterprise integration platforms through automation, CI/CD and modern DataOps practices.
- Provide technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews and architectural guidance.
- Partner with architects, business stakeholders and vendors to deliver secure, scalable integration solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement by evaluating emerging technologies and contributing to enterprise platform modernisation and future AI initiatives.

About You
Essential:
- 8+ years' experience in software development or enterprise data integration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)/IDMC.
- Experience designing and delivering enterprise ETL/ELT and data integration solutions.
- Knowledge of ETL, ELT, CDC and API-based integration patterns.
- Experience working with Oracle, SQL Server and Snowflake.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong technical leadership, stakeholder engagement and mentoring skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
Desirable:
- Experience with enterprise data warehousing and dimensional modelling.
- Knowledge of DataOps, cloud-native integration and modern data engineering practices.
- Experience supporting enterprise integration platforms in production environments.
- Experience contributing to architecture governance and technical standards.

This is a permanent full-time role with hybrid flexibility. While our preference is for the successful candidate to be based at our Surry Hills campus in Sydney, we are also open to candidates based near our Melbourne, Adelaide or Brisbane campuses. Applicants must have full, ongoing working rights in Australia. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
