Information Governance Officer (Remote) – £42,000 + Training Provided
Remote | £42,000 per annum | Full-Time | Permanent
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Remote Information Governance Officer to support data protection, information governance, compliance, and records management across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in GDPR, UK data protection, compliance, and information security who is looking to develop their career within a growing team.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with UK GDPR and data protection legislation.
- Manage Subject Access Requests (SARs) and Freedom of Information (FOI) requests.
- Maintain records management and information governance policies.
- Support compliance audits and risk assessments.
- Investigate data protection incidents and recommend improvements.
- Provide guidance to colleagues on information governance best practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Information Governance, Compliance, Data Protection, or Records Management.
- Knowledge of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
