Information Manager – (Wastewater Treatment Projects)

About the Role & Candidate

Glanua Ltd is a progressive organisation in the water and wastewater industry. Due to continued success, they are expanding with several dynamic job opportunities. The company is seeking an Information Manager to work on large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

The Information Manager will have a primary focus on information management, ensuring successful delivery of client requirements across all project phases. This role will be based in their Warrington Office.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will manage all project information, guaranteeing accuracy, quality, and data integrity while enhancing digital project delivery processes. The role involves:

  • Ensuring seamless collaboration and communication between Glanua and all stakeholders.
  • Working within the digital delivery team to consistently achieve high-quality deliverables.
  • Monitoring the quality of information shared on the project CDE and exchange with the Client CD.
  • Ensuring all deliverables align with Glanua’s Business Execution Plan (BEP).
  • Reporting on non-conformance issues and offering corrective guidance.
  • Aligning all project stakeholders with Glanua’s digital delivery strategy.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • BIM Execution Plan (BEP) Development
    • Create, maintain, and enforce the BEP, ensuring alignment with ISO 19650 and client requirements.

  • Information Delivery Planning

    • Define Levels of Information Need (LOIN), project phases, and structured information management frameworks.
  • CDE Governance

    • Oversee information flow through GA CDE and Client Systems, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and adherence to industry best practices.
  • Standards & Training

    • Implement BIM standards and manage audits, while fostering training in digital delivery processes.
  • Information Handover

    • Facilitate structured data delivery to the client (e.g., asset data, project reports).
    • Provide insights to Senior Project Leads for improved digitaldelivery outcomes.
  • Project Completion

    • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within cost forecasts for digital delivery.
    • Record lessons learned for future improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate should possess:

Degree & Certifications

  • A qualification in Information Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related field.
  • Preferred: Certification in BIM or ISO 19650 (e.g., BRE, BSI, or equivalent).

Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years in BIM or information management roles within construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with data governance and digital transformation frameworks.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of ISO 19650 series and UK BIM Level 2 standards.
  • Technical proficiency in CDE platforms such as:
    • Autodesk BIM 360, Construction Cloud
    • ProjectWise Explorere, **Aconex|**Viewpoint, AsiteTM, Nowitech
  • Expertise in data structures, metadata, and interoperability.
  • Attention to detail, organisational skills, and excellent coordination.
  • Ability to communicate complex digital information effectively to multidisciplinary teams.
