Information Manager
Information Manager – (Wastewater Treatment Projects)
The Role & Candidate
Glanua Ltd is a progressive organisation in the water and wastewater industry. Due to continued business success, the company is expanding with several dynamic and exciting roles. They are seeking an Information Manager to work on large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects, with the primary focus on information management to support successful client delivery across all project phases. The role will be based in our Warrington Office.
The ideal candidate will:
- Manage all project information, ensuring accuracy, quality, and data integrity
- Enhance digital project delivery processes for efficient projects
- Ensure seamless collaboration and communication between Glanua and all stakeholders
The successful candidate will work within Glanua’s digital delivery team to achieve high-quality deliverables across the project portfolio, aligning all project teams with Glanua’s digital delivery strategy.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
The main duties include:

BIM Execution Plan (BEP) Development
- Create, maintain, and enforce the BEP, ensuring alignment with ISO 19650 and client requirements.

Information Delivery Planning
- Define Level of Information Need (LOIN), stage completion, and information management processes.

CDE Governance
- Oversee information flow through Glanua’s Common Data Environment (CDE) and client systems to ensure:
- Efficient and compliant workflows
- Alignment with client requirements and industry best practice

Standards & Training
- Implement BIM standards, manage audits, and train project teams in digital delivery processes.

Information Handover
- Oversee structured data delivery (e.g., asset data) for reporting to Senior Project Leads.

Project Completion
- Ensure on-time and cost forecast compliance for digital delivery
- Record lessons learned post-project.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Information Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Preferred certification in:
- BIM
- ISO 19650 Information Management (e.g., BRE, BSI, or equivalents)
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in:
- BIM or information management within construction or infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with data governance and digital transformation frameworks.

Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of:
- ISO 19650 series standards
- UK BIM Level 2
- Experience with CDE platforms, such as:
- Autodesk BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud
- ProjectWise Explorer, Aconex, Asite, Viewpoint (or similar)
- Understanding of:
- Data structures
- Metadata and interoperability
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and coordination skills
- Ability to communicate complex digital information clearly to multidisciplinary teams
