Talented people are the key to our success.

Would you like to work for an inclusive and collaborative company which is also one of the most successful within the UK infrastructure industry?

We are looking for an ambitious Information Manager to support delivery on the National Grid Great Grid Partnership Framework. Working across complex, multi-disciplinary energy projects, you will be embedded from design through to handover, ensuring consistent, high-quality information management that supports decision-making and programme performance.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your expertise while driving best practice, improving processes, and influencing standards across projects and the wider Energy business.

Role Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage information management standards, governance, and project-specific processes.
  • Coordinate information management across teams, designers, subcontractors, and document control to ensure alignment and compliance.
  • Oversee information exchanges, submissions, and approvals, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to protocols.
  • Monitor information performance, addressing risks, gaps, and non-conformance.
  • Support and maintain information delivery planning (MIDP/TIDP), ensuring outputs align with programme milestones and handover requirements.
  • Ensure information is accurate, traceable, accessible, and consistently delivered across all teams.
  • Support effective use and alignment of information systems, ensuring structured, consistent, and high-quality data.
  • Enable reporting through strong data governance, consistency, and integration across systems.
  • Provide guidance and function as a key interface between delivery teams and the Information Management function.
  • Promote best practices, reinforce roles and responsibilities, and drive continuous improvement and standardisation.
  • Embed information management into day-to-day workflows, providing direct support to ensure practical application.
  • Identify recurring issues, resolve root causes, and promote use of approved systems to maintain a sole source of truth.
  • Escalate systemic challenges to the Senior Information Manager where required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
