Help Shape the Future of Information Security and AI Auditing
Are you passionate about technology, information security or AI? Looking for a role where you can learn, grow and make a real impact?
We're looking for someone to join Tempo and train as an Information Security & AI Auditor. Whether you already have experience in information security or come from a broader IT background, we'll give you the training and support to build specialist expertise in one of the fastest-growing areas in tech.
This isn't your typical auditing job.
At Tempo, we're rethinking how audits should work — making them faster, friendlier and built around modern technology companies.
About Tempo
Who are we? Check out our short video from Founder Rob on the Tempo story at www.tempoaudits.com.
Tempo is a fast-growing certification body helping startups and scale-ups achieve certifications such as ISO 27001, ISO 42001 and SOC 2.
Traditional certification bodies are often slow, bureaucratic and built around outdated ways of working. We started Tempo in 2024 to change that.
Our mission is simple: make audits less box-ticking, more helpful.
We're bootstrapped, profitable and growing fast. We've already worked with more than 300 companies, have a team of 9 full-time staff (plus 12 contract auditors), and demand continues to grow every month.
We're a fully remote company with a relaxed, collaborative culture. We move quickly, trust people to own their work, and genuinely enjoy what we do.
If you're excited by technology, love learning and want to join a company where you can grow alongside the business, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll be Doing
- You'll receive full training to become an Information Security & AI Auditor, developing expertise in internationally recognised standards including ISO 27001 and ISO 42001.
- As your confidence grows, you'll begin managing audits from start to finish, working directly with founders, CTOs and leadership teams at some of the most exciting startups across the UK, Europe and beyond.
- You'll interview clients, review evidence, assess their management systems, prepare audit reports and make certification recommendations—all while helping companies improve their security practices.
- Along the way you'll also help us improve how we work. As a growing startup, we're constantly refining our processes, trying new ideas and building better ways of delivering audits.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why Join Tempo?
Let's be honest — information security auditing probably isn't the first career that springs to mind when someone says "exciting." But the industry is changing rapidly!
AI is transforming how companies operate. Security has never been more important. Thousands of startups need certifications like ISO 27001 and ISO 42001, yet many still have to navigate slow, outdated certification bodies that weren't built for modern businesses.
That's exactly why Tempo exists.
We're building something different — an audit experience that's faster, more collaborative and genuinely enjoyable for our clients.
If you join now, you'll be joining early enough to make a real impact. You'll take ownership, help shape the future of the business, and build specialist skills in one of the fastest-growing areas in tech.
We're growing quickly, working with incredible companies, and having a lot of fun along the way.
If that sounds like your kind of challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
