Information Security Analyst
Cyber Security Analyst – Information Security Operations Centre

Role Summary
Collaborate with the Security Operations Centre (SOC) to identify, investigate, and remediate insecure features and malicious activities affecting Swissport’s networks and infrastructure. Implement security controls such as email security gateways and vulnerability management systems while contributing to user awareness training and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Security Operations & Monitoring
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts originating from the SOC, SIEM, and EDR platforms.
- Manage and refine email security gateways, including reviewing quarantined messages and adjusting policies to minimise false positives.
- Maintain Swissport’s vulnerability management processes from detection through remediation tracking.

Risk & Awareness Initiatives
- Assist with cyber risk assessments for new software and services.
- Conduct phishing simulations and analyse results to strengthen user security awareness.
- Coordinate security awareness initiatives, including compliance follow-ups and training campaigns.
- Champion web access controls to ensure appropriate resource filtering and regulatory compliance.
Investigations & Logging
- Verify SIEM logging coverage to ensure data integrity from key systems.
- Support investigations involving suspected breaches to accounts or endpoints.
- Develop and update security operation documentation and scalable processes.
Collaboration & Improvement
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify improvements in tools, processes, or security controls.
Your Profile
- Experience: 2–3 years in cybersecurity, IT security operations, system/network monitoring, or incident response.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in email security, endpoint detection (EDR), vulnerability management, and SIEM.
- Awareness of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) and relevant regulations (GDPR).
- Understanding of cybersecurity risk communication for non-technical stakeholders.
- Personality & Mindset:
- Enthusiastic, proactive team player with a continuous improvement mentality.
- Ability to work autonomously on routine tasks and escalate when necessary.
- Comfortable in fast-paced, priority-driven environments.
- Willingness to expand skills with emerging threats and security trends.

Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft SC-900, or equivalent).
- Background in a regulated/safety-critical environment (e.g., aviation, critical infrastructure).
