Information Security Specialist
Business Information Security Associate
Contract Length: 12+ Months Location: Fully Remote
Role Description
The Business Information Security Associate (BISA) is an Information Security point of contact supporting the Global Business Information Security Office for an assigned segment, driving the cybersecurity program. The BISA serves as a trusted partner and point of contact, providing cybersecurity best practices, advice and assurance that the Information Security policy is complied with for processes and systems.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
-** 5+ years of experience** in an information technology role, with strong relationship-building skills -** Undergraduate degree** (Bachelor’s) required -** Experience in security/legal/private industry** preferred -** Authorization for international relocation** accepted

Responsibilities

Support activities of the Global Business Information Security Office, acting as a security contact for:
- IT leaders
- Product owners
- Infrastructure, architecture teams
- Finance, legal, and other personnel

Partner with:
- Business teams
- Regional Compliance & Privacy teams
- Legal and IT resources to enhance the security program

Partner with the segment BISO to implement policies and standards for the segment.

Support:
- Risk remediation activities with the Information Risk team
- Information Security Awareness programs via:
- Participating in events
- Communications and training
- Escalate issues and assist in investigations

Serve as liaison with service delivery teams to implement required security solutions.

Educate regional DIO team members on information security best practices.

Enforce data protection policies and IT controls.

Attend:
- Information Security Town Halls
- Monthly BISO Standups
- Information Risk calls
- Specified leadership discussions

Track and report KPIs, including:
- Phishing incidents
- Patching status
- Training completion
- Risk mitigation progress
Competencies & Qualifications
- Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, Security+
- Critical thinking and problem-solving expertise
- Clear, effective written and verbal communication to:
- End users
- Technical teams (e.g., developers, architects)
- Bone-chilling relationships needed for success
- Ability to translate technical/security discussions for business decision-making.
