IT Audit Manager – Asset Management
Location: London
Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 + Bonus
Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)
We are seeking a proactive IT Audit Manager to join a growing Internal Audit function within a leading Asset Management business. In this role, you will go beyond traditional assurance activities, acting as a trusted advisor by providing independent assurance and subject matter expertise across Technology, Cyber Security, Data, and Change risks within a dynamic investment management environment.
The Role
As a key member of the Technology Audit team, you will play a leading role in delivering the risk-based audit plan to a high professional standard. Your work will provide valuable insights to senior management and the Audit Committee, supporting effective governance, risk management, and internal control across the Asset Management business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead & Execute: Deliver high-quality end-to-end technology audits, acting as a subject matter expert across IT General Controls, Cyber Security, Cloud, SDLC, Data, and Technology Change.
- Risk Assessment: Contribute to the annual technology risk assessment and support the development of the internal audit plan, ensuring coverage of key risks within the Asset Management business.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders, providing pragmatic recommendations that strengthen the control environment while supporting business objectives.
- Continuous Monitoring: Monitor emerging technology risks, regulatory developments, and industry trends, including Cloud adoption, Cyber Security, Data Governance, AI, and Digital Transformation.
- Collaboration & Development: Support colleagues through coaching, knowledge sharing, and contributing to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies, tools, and practices.

What We're Looking For
- Experience: Proven experience in IT Internal Audit within Asset Management, Wealth Management, Investment Management, or the wider Financial Services sector.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of technology risk and control frameworks, including Cyber Security, IT General Controls, SDLC, Cloud infrastructure, Data Governance, and Technology Change.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical risks clearly to senior business stakeholders.
- Qualifications: CISA qualification is highly desirable.
- Mindset: A proactive, organised professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is committed to delivering value-added assurance.
