Job Title: Technology Business Partner

Location: London (3 days on site)

Employment Type: Permanent

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + 10% Bonus & standard benefits package

Start Date: Immediate

Industry: Events and Entertainment

We're looking for a Technology Business Partner to join a growing technology function, acting as the key link between the business and IT to ensure enterprise applications are delivered, governed and supported effectively.

You'll work closely with business stakeholders, suppliers and technical teams to understand business needs, challenge proposed solutions and ensure new technologies are scalable, secure and operationally ready. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys stakeholder engagement, application governance and improving business technology rather than hands-on infrastructure or development.

Technology Business Partner – Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and technology teams
  • Gather, analyse and document business requirements
  • Translate business needs into practical technology solutions
  • Review and challenge solution designs and supplier proposals
  • Ensure applications are supportable and operationally ready before implementation
  • Support the full application lifecycle including upgrades, enhancements and retirement
  • Work with vendors on SLAs, contracts and service improvements
  • Maintain documentation including SOPs, HLDs and operational procedures
  • Drive governance, standardisation and reduction of shadow IT
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across business applications

  • Experience in Technology Business Partnering, Business Applications, Application Support, Service Transition or Technical Project Delivery
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
  • Knowledge of enterprise applications and SaaS platforms
  • Experience working with suppliers and third-party vendors
  • Understanding of application governance and operational readiness
  • Comfortable reviewing solution designs and challenging technical proposals
  • Experience producing technical documentation and process documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Knowledge of Microsoft technologies, SSO, GDPR or Jira would be advantageous
