Senior IT Systems Engineer (Technology Operations) – AI Business in London

About the Role

You’ll be part of a lean, collaborative Technology Operations team, supporting a scaling global workforce while driving automation, security, and operational excellence. This is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to shape the future of technology-driven growth.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on problem-solving, process improvement, and scaling technology solutions with vision and efficiency.


Responsibilities

Your role will blend operations, security, and automation in a fast-moving environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing identity and access lifecycle processes via Okta
  • Administering and optimising core SaaS platforms, including Google Workspace
  • Owning Mac endpoint management through Jamf
  • Automating onboarding, offboarding, and workflow processes
  • Delivering high-quality technical support across the organisation
  • Developing scripts and automations (preferred language: Python) to improve efficiency
  • Supporting security initiatives and best practice controls
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline and scale IT operations

Requirements

To stand out in this technical and impactful role, successful candidates will have:

  • Experience administering Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace, and macOS environments
  • A strong foundation in SaaS administration and endpoint management
  • Scripting skills (preferably Python) for automation and problem-solving
  • A passion for process improvement and automation-driven efficiencies
  • Deep security awareness and best-practice knowledge
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management—meeting internal teams and leadership
  • A proactive, ownership mindset—someone who takes initiative and drives impact
