Field Service Engineer

Permanent
Onsite - Wiltshire with Travel

The Field Services Engineer is responsible for delivering high-quality, customer-focused IT support across a designated business division, providing on-site technical support to multiple operating companies and central London offices, including executive-level (C-Suite) stakeholders.

Reporting to the IT Service Delivery Manager, the role acts as the primary face of IT within the division, building trusted relationships with key stakeholders through regular office visits, proactive engagement and excellent customer service. The Field Services Engineer will provide technical support across regional offices, construction sites and sales offices, responding rapidly to service-affecting incidents to minimise disruption to the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver exceptional on-site IT support across four operating companies, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
  • Provide dedicated executive support, ensuring business-critical technology used by senior leaders remains fully operational and responding rapidly to issues affecting executive users.
  • Carry out regular scheduled visits to regional offices, sales offices and construction sites to provide proactive IT support and maintain strong customer engagement.
  • Respond quickly to urgent service-affecting incidents across the division, travelling to locations where on-site intervention is required to restore business services.
  • Diagnose and resolve a broad range of hardware, software, networking and mobile technology issues within agreed Service Level Agreements.
  • Install, configure and maintain laptops, mobile devices, printers, meeting room technology and associated peripherals.
  • Provide support for Microsoft 365, Windows, Azure AD, Intune, VPN connectivity and business applications.
