IT Field Engineer – Newcastle (Outside IR35)
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne (Onsite)
Contract: Outside IR35
Duration: Approx. 1 day (August)
We're recruiting an experienced IT Field Engineer to support a hardware refresh project at a client site in Newcastle upon Tyne.
This is a short-term onsite assignment, ideal for a local engineer with strong desktop support experience.
Responsibilities
- Replace desktop docking stations
- Provide hands-on support to end users
- Troubleshoot any issues during the deployment
- Ensure hardware installations are completed efficiently and professionally

Required Skills
- Previous experience as an IT Field Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, or IT Support Engineer
- Experience with laptop deployments and hardware installations
- Strong hardware troubleshooting skills
- Excellent customer-facing communication
- Ability to work independently onsite
