Senior Infrastructure & Microsoft 365 Engineer
-East Midlands | Hybrid Working -Competitive Salary + Benefits
We're working with a well-established organisation seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure & Microsoft 365 Engineer to join their internal IT team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys owning infrastructure, driving improvements and actinging as a senior technical escalation point across Microsoft 365, cloud services, security and end-user technology.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing and supporting Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and Entra ID.
- Administering Intune, Autopilot, endpoint security and device compliance.
- Supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V and Azure environments.
- Managing backup, disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
- Maintaining infrastructure security, patching and vulnerability remediation.
- Driving automation and continual service improvement through PowerShell and Microsoft tooling.
- Acting as an escalation point for complex infrastructure and technical issues.

What We're Looking For
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Intune and Entra ID.
- Proven Windows Server and Active Directory administration experience.
- Experience supporting infrastructure, cloud and endpoint environments.
- Knowledge of security best practice, patch management and compliance.
- Experience with backup technologies such as Veeam or Acronis.
- Strong troubleshooting, stakeholder management and communication skills.

Nice to Have
- Azure administration experience.
- SharePoint Online administration.
- Mac OS and iOS support experience.
- PowerShell scripting and automation expertise.
- Exposure to Cyber Essentials or similar security frameworks.
