IT & Data Manager

Location - Ramsbottom

The Opportunity

We are proud to be partnered with a leading plastics manufacturing business who are market leaders through constant product innovation and meeting customer needs. They are currently recruiting an experienced and proactive IT & Data Manager to lead technology, systems, and data across a growing manufacturing business.

This is a varied and hands-on role offering the opportunity to shape the company's IT and Data management, drive digital transformation, and make a real impact on operational performance. You'll work closely with senior leadership to improve business processes, enhance reporting and data insights, strengthen cybersecurity, and ensure technology infrastructure supports future growth.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and develop the company's IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business systems.
  • Manage and optimise Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, HubSpot CRM, and Microsoft 365.
  • Drive digital transformation projects that improve efficiency, productivity, and decision-making.
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of networks, servers, and devices.
  • Work with stakeholders across manufacturing, operations, finance, sales, and customer service to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage external IT partners and technology suppliers.
  • Champion data quality, governance, and continuous improvement throughout the business.
  • Deliver meaningful business insights through dashboards, reporting, and data analysis.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in IT management, systems administration, or data management.
  • Experience supporting ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, networks, cybersecurity, and business systems.
  • Experience with SQL databases, reporting, and business intelligence tools.
  • A practical problem solver who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
