IT Operations Manager | £850 per day (Inside IR35) | 6-Month Contract | London | Hybrid (3-4 Days Office)
I'm working with a leading global specialty insurance business to appoint an experienced IT Operations Manager on an initial 6-month contract.
This is a senior leadership opportunity where you'll take ownership of a global IT Operations function, ensuring the delivery of secure, resilient, and high-performing technology services across multiple international locations.
You'll lead IT Service Operations, End User Computing and Service Desk teams, driving operational excellence while working closely with Infrastructure, Cyber Security and Applications teams to maintain exceptional service levels in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Leading a global IT Operations and Service Support function
- Managing major incidents, service delivery and operational performance
- Driving ITIL best practice across Incident, Problem and Change Management
- Owning operational KPIs, SLAs and continuous service improvement
- Managing vendors and third-party service providers
- Working closely with senior technology leadership and business stakeholders across international offices
We're Looking For:
- Strong IT Operations leadership experience within Insurance or Financial Services
- Proven experience managing 24/7 IT service operations in complex enterprise environments (1,000+ users)
- Strong Microsoft technology background including Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and VMware
- Excellent understanding of ITIL Service Management
- Experience operating within highly regulated environments (SOX, DORA, Cyber Essentials, NIST or similar)
- Confident stakeholder management up to Executive level
