Information Technology Operations Manager
Senior IT and Technology Strategy Manager
We are partnering with a high-growth, international recruitment business that was "built ‘born in the cloud’" and is now entering its next phase of operational and technological maturity.
With a strong Microsoft-centric stack and a clear ambition to leverage AI across the business, this is a critical hire at the intersection of technology, operations, and commercial delivery.
About the Role
This role will take day-to-day ownership of IT operations while playing a key strategic role in shaping and delivering the organisation’s evolving AI and technology strategy. You will work closely with the CIO and senior leadership, spanning sales, marketing, and operations, helping to:
- Embed systems and workflows
- Drive measurable ROI from technology investments

Key Responsibilities
Operational & Strategic Leadership
- Own and manage IT operations across a cloud-native environment
- Deliver technology and AI initiatives, including Copilot deployment and adoption
- Partner with commercial teams to optimise systems and sales workflows
- Lead on information security, systems controls, and data privacy
- Drive system implementation, integration, and continuous improvement
- Act as the bridge between technical capability and business needs (not a back-office IT role)
Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in IT operations, systems, or technology roles
- Proven understanding of Azure environments and the Microsoft stack
- Commercially minded, with an appreciation of sales processes and business flow
- Proven ability to deliver and embed systems or change initiatives
- Comfortable operating in a standalone IT leadership role, with potential to build a team

Highly Desirable
- Experience with AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, automation, agents)
- Recruitment or professional services sector experience (though not essential)
- Cross-functional stakeholder management expertise
