Location: Watford (Hybrid – 3 days office based and 2 days working from home)

About the Role
We are looking for an IT Project Coordinator to join our growing IT team. This role offers the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating activities and meeting deadlines while developing your skills to develop your career.
In this role you will own and deliver smaller projects from start to finish, whilst supporting working alongside a supportive and experienced team. From coordinating software releases and data projects to keeping critical workstreams on track, you will play a key role in ensuring successful project delivery across the business.
Key Role and Responsibilities:
- Own and Deliver Small Projects
- Plan, coordinate and deliver small-scale projects from initiation through to completion.
- Manage activities such as release management and smaller data-focused initiatives.
- Make day-to-day delivery decisions within agreed boundaries.
- Identify risks, resolve issues, and keep projects moving forward.
- Evaluate project outcomes and identify lessons learned to improve future delivery.

Coordinate Programmes and Workstreams
- Support Project Managers and the PMO team on larger strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate project activities, dependencies, actions and deadlines.
- Keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout project lifecycles.
- Ensure key milestones and deliverables remain on track.
- Help facilitate smooth collaboration across technical and business teams.

Project Tracking and Reporting
- Maintain accurate project information within Jira.
- Produce clear and concise progress updates.
- Capture meeting notes, actions and decisions.
- Monitor project status and proactively identify potential issues.
- Escalate risks and blockers when appropriate.

Stakeholder Support and Collaboration
- Build strong working relationships across IT, Data and Business teams.
- Coordinate project meetings, workshops and governance activities.
- Work with external suppliers and vendors regarding schedules and deliverables.
- Support onboarding activities for new systems, processes and team members.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
- We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys solving problems, and wants to build on their career.
- Experience supporting or coordinating a project, task, workstream or business initiative from start to finish.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confidence making day-to-day decisions within agreed parameters.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
- Working knowledge of Jira or a willingness to quickly learn project management tools.
- Ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can evolve.
- A genuine interest in project delivery, technology and continuous improvement.

Desirable Experience
While not essential, it would be beneficial if you have experience with:
- Release management activities.
- Data-related projects or initiatives.
- Confluence or SharePoint.
- IT, technology or digital project environments.
