Information Technology Project Manager
IT Project Manager
Robert Half are recruiting for a permanent experienced IT Project Manager to lead a range of business critical technology transformation projects within a complex and highly regulated environment.
This is an opportunity to drive large-scale change across IT infrastructure, digital services, operational technology, cyber security, data platforms, and workplace technologies.
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing projects from initiation through to delivery, developing business cases, creating project roadmaps, managing stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery against agreed time, cost, and quality objectives.
Working closely with technical teams, operational stakeholders, suppliers, and senior leadership, you'll play a key role in delivering strategic digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead IT transformation and technology modernisation projects end-to-end.
- Develop project plans, business cases, risk assessments, and benefits realisation plans.
- Manage project governance, reporting, budgets, risks, issues, and change control.
- Coordinate internal teams, external suppliers, and senior stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with security, compliance, and organisational standards.
- Drive successful delivery across discovery, design, procurement, implementation, and transition phases.

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience delivering IT infrastructure, digital transformation, or technology modernisation projects.
- Project Management certification such as PRINCE2, Agile, MSP, or APM.
- Experience using Microsoft Project and JIRA.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, networks, cyber security, enterprise applications, and data platforms.
- Experience working within an ITIL-aligned environment.
- SC Clearance or the ability to obtain it.
Desirable Experience
- Operational Technology (OT) project delivery.
- Defence, aerospace, government, or other highly regulated environments.
