IT Project Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group is working in partnership with a major national housebuilder to recruit an experienced IT Project Manager, based at their Doncaster head office.

This is a genuine end-to-end project management role. You'll take business change projects from initial concept — often being the first person to sit with the business and shape requirements — through planning, delivery, training and transition into service, right up to benefits realisation. Projects are varied and largely one-off: business change with underlying technology, spanning system configuration, process improvement and transformation across a large, multi-site organisation.

This is a lean, autonomous delivery environment. You'll identify and secure your own project resources, build and own your plans, and work directly with senior stakeholders — including presenting to and influencing divisional leadership. There's a light-touch PMO for administrative support on larger projects, but the delivery is yours.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
