IT Project Manager
Location: Trowbridge
Contract: Fixed-term, 12-month contract
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a market-leading provider of IT project management services. They are currently seeking an IT Project Manager to join their team on a full-time basis for an initial fixed-term period of 12 months. The role will involve working primarily on client sites across the Trowbridge/Wiltshire region, with some opportunity to work from home depending on client and project requirements.

The Role of Project Manager
As an IT Project Manager, you will be directly client-facing and responsible for leading and managing all aspects of IT projects from conception through to completion. This will include planning and scheduling, risk management, communication, and stakeholder management. You will also ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong understanding of IT project management methodologies, alongside experience of managing complex projects. Large-scale website rebranding project experience would be particularly advantageous, and candidates with this background will be prioritised for shortlist.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing all aspects of client-side project delivery, with accountability for successful outcomes
- Defining, scoping, and planning multi-disciplinary projects
- Managing stakeholders effectively throughout the project lifecycle
- Developing robust business cases
- Supporting business change management activities
- Managing selection and implementation activity
- Tracking benefits to ensure project outcomes are achieved

About You
Candidates will have a proven track record of delivering complex technical IT projects, ideally with a minimum of 4–5 years’ experience in a dedicated IT Project Manager role. You must have access to a vehicle and already hold the right to work in the UK, as our client is unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.
You will be experienced in:
- Delivering website rebranding projects
- Working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Building strong client relationships and managing stakeholders effectively
- Tracking benefits to ensure outcomes are realised and projects are successful
- Managing project finances, including expenditure relating to hardware, software, capital, and operating costs
